Suncoast Cable Watersports in partnership with Mother Energy drinks are hosting the 2nd annual Winter Wakeskate Wonderland from the 18th till the 20th of August 2009. This year we are proud to announce that Reed Hansen and Matt Manzari are making the trek over from the USA to join us for the 3 days.In 2009 the Winter Wakeskate Wonderland will be held at Suncoast Cable Watersports which has recently added 3 new sliders to their already awesome set up. The event will give young riders the opportunity to ride with Professional wakeskaters in a free ride atmosphere.
The event will be held over three action packed days. The first two days will consist of a number of smaller comps and free ride sessions. The last day will be the main event which will be open to the public to come and watch. On the last day there will be 4 categories Pros, Amateurs, Groms and Girls. First price for the Pros will be $3000, 2nd $1000 and 3rd $500.
The cost for the 3 day event will be $350. The entry fee covers all food and non alcoholic beverages over the three days provided by the Wake Cafe (strictly no BYO alcohol, there will be a licensed area for those of you who need to wet the pallet with an alcoholic beverage!), unlimited riding during the day, entry into all comps, transport to river for boat sessions and insurance. All you need to bring is your tents and board! (All riders must wear PDF3 vests and helmets) To register go to www.wakeskatewonderland.com to get your rego forms.
